Fill PDF forms

Fill in a PDF's form fields and save the result.

To fill in a PDF's form fields:

  1. Open Fill PDF forms from the tools list.
  2. Drop your PDF, or Choose files / From library.
  3. The page appears with its fields outlined — you can fill them in right there, before running anything.
  4. Click Read form fields.
  5. DocuFlow reads the fields: "Loading form fields…", then either "This PDF has no form fields." or one control per field — a real checkbox for checkbox fields, a text box for every other type — already carrying what you typed on the preview.
  6. Tick Flatten if you want the values locked into the page so they can't be edited again.
  7. Click Fill form (busy: "Filling…").
  8. Click Download <filename>.

What you'll see when it's done: the filled file is offered as a download button named after it.

If something goes wrong

"This PDF has no form fields." if there's nothing to fill in; otherwise, a failed fill shows the engine's own message under the button.

List-box fields aren't fillable here yet: a list-box shows as a plain text box, but typing into it doesn't change the file's real list-box value. Every other field type — text, checkboxes and the rest — fills in and saves normally.
