Edit as image

Edit a PDF page like an image.

To edit a page like an image:

  1. With a PDF page open in the editor, click Edit as image in the page toolbar under the page (or open Edit as image from the tools list, which opens the editor on that page directly).
  2. A note reads "This page becomes an image."
  3. Edit the page with the image tools — crop, resize, black out or blur an area, rotate, convert, or remove its background.
  4. Click Apply to put the edited image back onto the page, or close the image editor to leave it unchanged.
  5. Click Export once you're done with the document.

What you'll see when it's done: the page in the editor updates immediately to your edited image.

If something goes wrong

Nothing specific to this tool. A blank page (from Add blank pages) can't be edited as an image, since it has no picture to start from.
